This 2nd floor  apartment on the new gated and secure complex of Terrazas del Sol has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and  can sleep up to 5/6 people. Terrazas del Sol is situated in the upper part of Riviera del Sol, (next to Calahonda), with uninterrupted views of the coast and the sea. Parking is provided in the large ground floor car park.

As the Costa del Sol benefits from over 300 days of sunshine a year, and this apartment which is south facing, it benefits from the sun all day into the early evening. The terrace has a large overhang to provide shade during the hottest parts of the day and has been comfortably furnished to give a second living area. The complex has two swimming pools and large grassed areas for play/sunbathing.

Lounge/Dining Room and Terrace

The lounge/dining room is comfortably furnished with a dining table and chairs, leather 3 and  2 seater sofas, and large stool. The 3 seater being a 4ft double divan sofa bed. The patio doors lead directly onto the terrace which provides a comfortable sofa and chair, coffee table, plus large dining table and chairs. Due to the frontline location the terrace has uninterrupted views of the coast and sea, and overlooks the swimming pool and grassed area of the development.

Kitchen & Separate Utility Room

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped with full oven, ceramic electric hob and extractor, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster etc. Utensils are supplied as if you were at home. A washing machine and equipments is supplied in the separate utility room.

Master Bedroom & En-suite Bathroom

The master bedroom is furnished with an extra large king size bed, however this can be made into 2 single beds if requested as they can be unzipped. There is a large fitted wardrobe and  chest of draws. The French doors lead directly onto the terrace, and the en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over, WC, Bidet, and Basin.

Guest Double bedroom.

This is made up with two single beds, however these can be zipped together to make a king size bed if requested. There is a large fitted wardrobe, draw space and a dressing table.

2nd Bathoom

The 2nd bathroom is fitted with a shower, WC and basin and is directly next to the guest bedroom.

Nb. Due to the flexibility of the beds (i.e either doubles or singles), there are 5 different beds which is suitable for a golfing  party etc.

Riviera del Sol and Calahonda

There are numerous restaurants, shops, bars and large supermarkets in Riviera del Sol and Calahonda to choose from. Opencor being open 24 hours a day – 7 days a week. El Zoco commercial centre in Calahonda has an area upstairs in the complex which has restaurants from different parts of the world built around an open courtyard, most having areas to dine outside on a fine evening.

At the bottom of Riviera there is a park, shops, bars, restaurants and a taxi rank. The Aztec Country club a short walk from the shops provides an Olympic size swimming pool, tennis, badminton, gym, games room and internet centre as well as food and entertainment.

Calahonda has a 9 hole golf course- La Siesta and Riviera has an 18 hole course – Miraflores Golf, which as a club house, driving range and golf academy. Only 2 kms from the apartment a new golf course – Calanova Golf opened this year, and is proving to be very popular.

A short drive from Riviera

FUENGIROLLA – the long sandy beach front at Fuengirolla is very popular, and there is an Aquapark, Zoo and Go Carting.

BENALMADENA– There are 3 areas of Benalmadena, the beach area, Benalmadena Pueblo, a traditional white village high up in the hills, and Benalmadena Harbour with its shops and restaurants (some in an elevated walkway around the marina) and boat trips. In this area is Tivoli World amusement park, and the Sealife Centre to visit.

MIJAS- This famous white village is set up in the mountains above Fuengirolla, and is a must to visit.

GOLF-There are over 30 prestigious golf courses on the Costa Del Sol, and due to the good weather, golfers are able to play all year round.

Beaches
Riviera has its own beach with max beach restaurant and bars directly on the beach. However the favourite beach is at PUERTO CABOPINO which is only a couple of minutes down the coast, here you will find a large stretch of sandy beach with shallow water for children, plenty of sun loungers to hire, water activities and beach bar/cafes directly on the beach. Beside the official beach there is a long stretch of dunes and sand for you picnic or sunbathing etc. The small port has numerous restaurants around it including the famous Alberts.

Getting Around
We strongly recommend hiring a car although the taxi service is very good and reasonable and will pick you up from your apartment.  The local buses are also very good.

Booking into the Apartment

On arrival the local manager will meet you when you get to Calahonda  and take you to the apartment. Arrivals are after 15.00 hrs (or by arrangement with out local manager), and vacation is at 10.00 hrs or by arrangement.
